Ice Cream for BROKEN 11-21-09

It's time to continue the vision God laid on Pastor Tom's heart.  We need to keep making a difference in the lives of the people in our community. 

Tomorrow... from 10am on at Roger's Bulk Candy Shop on 9 Mile & Hayes in Eastpointe, The Urban Church and Roger's will be giving away 400 free scoops of Ice Cream!  In return, we ask that you donate to the cause of BROKEN.  If you already have donated... consider inviting friends, family, others to come and to donate! 

BROKEN was established to make sure that no more families lose their home due to the tough financial times we are facing.  Our first fundraiser was a HUGE success, and we are ready to do it again at Roger's this Saturday.

As an incentive to donate, we are going to be raffling off 4 turkeys at the end of the day!  And those who donate may enter into the drawing for a free turkey for this Thanksgiving! 

It's time to help the hurting... make a difference in our community once again!  I sincerely hope you'll not just support the BROKEN through prayer or nice warm thought, but that you'll volunteer your time... make a donation, even if small... Let's help spread hope, joy and optimism in our community.  More than that, let's spread God's love to our community.  Let's show people that we really do care about the people around us, and not just ourselves!
