ARK - Getting more R...

Hey everybody! 

Quick note of thanks to those who were able to participate in the ARK snow removal project this past Tuesday and Wednesday.  We organized a snow removal from windshields at Eastpointe City Hall... while only one person showed... the point was the whole idea of kindness.  And while we were not able to get together to make a difference as a group, a good deal of you told me about opportunities to do a little ARK of your own shoveling snow Wednesday morning and cleaning windshields as well.  It just goes to show you that no matter what the circumstances are, God's work needs to be spread, and the folks here at Urban are responding to God's vision that Urban get out of the huddle and into the game!  Thanks a lot to you all for your efforts this past week! 

I hate to tell you this, but for the next month, there's gonna be a little more R in the whole ARK project.  Yep, that's right, you heard me!  It's gonna get a little more RANDOM!!!!!!!!

What does that mean?  Simple!  There are going to be opportunities to get involved to show God's love in practical ways to the community, but they may not be as pre-planned as Ice Cream giveaways or bowl-a-thons... that's all! 

Don't worry... if you like pre-planned ARK opportunities, they'll be back, and very soon! 

But for the next few weeks, keep on your toes, and be open to God pressing on your heart to get involved at random!   Chances to impact the community we live in for God occur when we truly choose to respond to God tugging on our heart in a totally spontaneous moment to do something unexpectedly nice for someone else. 

Get on board the ARK... and see where your relationship or your newfound connection to God takes you!  We're excited to share God's love in practical ways to the community, and excited you'll be along for the journey!
